If your Sony FX9 cinema camera is losing its date, time, and settings every time you turn it off, then internal battery has reached end-of-life and it must be replaced. Unfortunately, replacing this battery requires major disassembly of the camera by a skilled technician and can cost up to $400+ through the usual service center. We offer this repair at a more affordable price and with a faster turnaround- as quickly as same-day depending on availability. The repair cost includes a brand-new battery and labor.

We accept local pickup/dropoff, or you may ship your camera to us (we can provide discounted shippng labels). Shipping costs would be calculated based on location and your chosen shipping speed.

Note: In some rare cases, the problem may be not just the dead battery, but also the circuit board containing the battery. If this is the case, replacement of the circuit board adds $130 to the repair cost.
