Based on the S60 SkyPanel, this modular LED panel provides hard and soft lighting options with new dimming, color science, and output quality that enhances medium to long throws with up to 20x greater output than other soft lights. The modular design supports native soft light using the included dome and hard light using open-face lighting and the optional HyPer Optic lens, and multiple panels can be used together to work as a single fixture in 2x1 (X21), 2x2 (X22), and 2x3 (X23) configurations.
 
This 2x1 panel measures 29.1 x 13.3" and features a full-spectrum RGBACL color engine, 1500-20,000K CCT range, accurate color rendition, numerous wired and wireless control options, and it sports an IP66 rating for performance in all weather conditions. It also features a built-in power supply unit for portability, and power can be daisy-chained with other SkyPanel X units to create expanded lighting grids. The SkyPanel X is also compatible with all S60 accessories using an optional adapter.

Applications

 
The X21 can be used with soft light close to the talent in low-end, flicker-free dimming conditions while adjusting the X21's color science to the ALEV 3 and ALEV 4 sensors of ARRI ALEXA cameras with the ARRI ALEXA modes. The SkyPanel X when paired with the HyPer Optic delivers a punchy light source, ideal through windows with diffusion. It offers an alternative to traditional point-source lights since you get the punch and rounded beam but with all the advantages of LED lights.
 

ARRI X21 HyPer Optic

 
Create a long throw fixture with the high-performance X21 HyPer Optic from ARRI. This hot-swappable component for SkyPanel X can transform the fixture into a native hard-light luminaire with a single rounded beam. When paired with the HyPer Optic, the SkyPanel X delivers a punchy light source that offers an alternative to traditional point-source lights since you get the punch and a rounded beam but with all the advantages of LED lights.
 

One Single Rounded Beam

 
Specifically optimized for direct long throws and powerful bouncing effects from a distance, the HyPer Optic delivers an impressive output and a refined light distribution. Its unique design allows the X21 to work as a native hard light, giving you a circular beam through a rectangular fixture.
 

Easy-to-Use, Widely Compatible

 
This multi-lens accessory can be quickly mounted and dismounted from the X21 lamphead's front. It also enables the placement of diffusion frames right after the individual lenses, such as the Beam Enhancer filter specifically made for SkyPanel X or the existing legacy diffusers of the Classic SkyPanel line.
 

Further Control

 
For a snoot option and more accurate control, the HyPer Optic can be combined with the DoPchoice SnapBox-SNOOT for X21 and the DoPchoice SNAPGRID 30° for X21.

ARRI All-Weather Control Panel

 
Designed for maximum flexibility, the All-Weather Control Panel from ARRI is a robust IP66-rated device that allows you to adjust the functions of the SkyPanel X. The control panel has an onboard screen, quick navigation buttons, and can be separated from the fixture and used remotely via an optional 16.4' or 49.2' cable. This is a great tool for centralized control, allowing you to easily change settings and create presets on the fly.
 

General Features

 
This 6.1 x 4.0 x 1.3" control panel works as an onboard display thanks to X21's dedicated bay. It is also a handy remote device when the lamphead is reachable via its LEMO connector.
 

Widely Compatible

 
The control panel runs on ARRI's LiOS proprietary software and is compatible with other ARRI fixtures such as the Orbiter.
 

ARRI X Modular Yoke with Spigot

 

The X Modular Yoke with Spigot from ARRI allows for the attachment of X22 and X23 modular frames. The silver aluminum yoke weighs 6.1 lb and includes a 28mm spigot. Shock absorbers are integrated to reduce impact in rugged environments.

 

ARRI X22 Modular Frame System

 
This X22 Modular Frame System from ARRI allows you to mount up to two X21 fixtures in an array. Designed for users and lighting technicians who want a higher-powered lighting setup, this frame can be installed onto the X Modular Yoke or directly rigged via standard 28mm spigots with C-clamps or pipe clamps.
